I built a 17-agent virtual team inside Claude, from a research analyst to a virtual CEO, to run Real Data Solutions day to day. Running a one-person company entirely on AI raises the bar before I need real employees.

I have a research analyst that pulls and cleans data, a writer that drafts in my voice (not this post, of course) and an operations agent that keeps projects moving and flags whatever is slipping before I have to ask. At the top is my virtual CEO, Charlie. Each agent has a human name, real job description and shows up when I need them. See a portion of my org chat below.
I originally thought Charlie, the CEO, should only have a handful of direct reports and I should create mid-level managers as directors of departments. You know, like a traditional company. Well, that would be true if Charlie was a human.
However, as a virtual CEO, he can have 1,000 direct reports without issue. No performance reviews, HR issues. It’s pretty nice. Everyone reports in for my daily executive brief to catch me up on what I need to know. Just like a company with real employees.
Don’t get me wrong. I will eventually hire real people, but operating a solopreneur company entirely on AI gives a higher threshold before I need to hire real people. I also get to run it the way I want and I LOVE IT.
So, I am looking for a few more teammates. Very specific skills required. Don’t apply. I’m going to create them now.
