The more useful number from the same reporting: eight of the Fortune 10 are now Claude customers. Over 500 companies spend more than $1M a year on it.
When operators think “AI,” the picture in their head is ChatGPT. Meanwhile the enterprise dollars are flowing to Claude.
Teams default to whichever model their employees started using first. That’s how a consumer brand and the enterprise leader can sit a few billion apart without leadership noticing.
If you’re picking AI tools right now, the real question is which model is being built for the work you actually do. Brand recognition is a lousy proxy for that.
