In a world of ADHD, anxiety and other mental health challenges, Abigail Shrier's π˜‰π˜’π˜₯ π˜›π˜©π˜¦π˜³π˜’π˜±π˜Ί is a must read.

Experience is the best teacher (obviously, within reason). Life is not easy. Let’s not rob our kids of the challenges that build grit, determination and the immense pride in slaying their own dragons.

The book talks about teens in today’s world and outlines reasons why today’s kids are more anxious and depressed than previous generations, even though they have access to more tools to make them happier (i.e. medication, therapists, learning plans, etc.).

Easy to blame it all on Social Media but surprising to hear that is not the only reason. The author states parents are also responsible for being too gentle on kids these days (i.e. the sugar reference).

Definitely worth a read if this topic is of interest to you.
