Your AI provider doesn't want you to leave. Here's an example.
Ask your AI assistant what it knows about you. Every major AI is built to keep you around, from follow up questions to memory to Cowork's built in Chrome. I'm comfortable with that tradeoff, and for real productivity gains, you need Claude.
Ask your AI assistant what it knows about you. Most people are surprised by the answer. Just type “What do you know about me?”
All the major AI’s are built so you have fewer reasons to leave. We’re in the Attention Economy (Hey Gary Vee!). The follow up question at the end of an answer is a design decision. The memory that carries from one session to the next. They continue to build marketing profiles about you so they can target information to you later. Sounds a like like Google and Facebook. OpenAI recently began displaying ads in their free version as well. Another miss on their part.
The newest example is Claude Cowork reaching into Chrome, so browsing happens without you opening a browser. Want to check on a link that Cowork provides? Just click the globe in the upper right and you have an embedded session of Chrome. When you’re done browsing, close it and you remain inside of Claude. Wouldn’t be surprised if Anthropic is probably also tracking your usage.
This is a new and evolving technology. They are still figuring it out. Just like your competitors. In my opinion, the immense value provided overshadows the data collection cost and I’m comfortable with that tradeoff. If you have a Gmail account, you are in the same boat if you don’t opt-out. How do you think they trained Gemini?
If you haven’t started with AI, you are behind. And by ‘started with AI’ I don’t mean having a Copilot license. That doesn’t count. Neither does ChatGPT. You need Claude.
Claude is the only provider who is targeting the enterprise and has a robust enough product to make a serious dent in productivity.
I can show you how to get it producing for your company in an afternoon.
